In 2005, I began baking cakes on a weekly basis for family & friends. Working in healthcare by day, cake decorating was a great creative outlet for expression. Self-taught, I created homemake cakes and confections for special celebrations such as birthdays, baby showers, and weddings. Every new project brought a greater challenge and desire for artistry, which led me to pursue my new found passion.
In 2015, HarveyMade Cakes was born, creating cakes for all occasions while working full time. I derive my cake aesthetic from my background in painting, sculpting, fashion, and 3d design. I love the process of creating art from sugar and delivering satisfying and tasteful creations.
